Data deletion
Last updated: September 16, 2026
This page explains how to ask us to delete your data, including data we obtain from Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp when you connect those accounts to Quetzalty. It complements our Privacy Policy.
Disconnect Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp
Sign in to Quetzalty and go to Settings › Social media accounts. Click Disconnect on the account you want to remove. We revoke the access token with Meta and stop receiving messages from that channel immediately. Messages and contacts already synced to your CRM remain yours and stay in your account; to delete those as well, use the request described below.
Delete data obtained from Meta
Email privacidad@quetzalty.com from your account address with the subject «Meta data deletion», stating which account you want purged: the Facebook Page, the Instagram profile or the WhatsApp number. We delete access tokens, the connected account identifiers and the conversations received through that channel.
Delete your entire Quetzalty account
Email privacidad@quetzalty.com from the address you signed up with, using the subject «Account deletion». Before deleting anything we give you 30 calendar days to export your information, and we complete the deletion within the 90 calendar days following termination, except for what we must retain by legal or tax obligation.
If you are a customer or patient of a business that uses Quetzalty
Your data is that business's responsibility, not ours: we only process it on their behalf. Send your request directly to the business that serves you. If you write to us, we will let them know and assist them in handling it, but we cannot delete data on our own where they are the controller.
Timelines and confirmation
We acknowledge your request and reply within a maximum of 20 business days. Where the request is well founded, we act on it within the following 15 business days and confirm by email once the deletion is complete.
What we retain and why
We may retain the billing records required by Mexican tax law and the information needed to defend legal claims. We do not retain access tokens or conversation content once the request has been handled.
